Many years ago, I heard from a friend the story of a man who didn’t kill a single person during the war. After hearing his story, I thought to myself “Is that even possible?” For killing is not a choice, but an instinct to defend oneself during the war, especially when one’s life is threatened. It seems impossible to not kill in war, but many years later another story proved me wrong.
Directed by Mel Gibson, starring Andrew Garfield who played the inspiring character of Desmond Thomas Doss in the movie Hacksaw Ridge.
